I didn't like this orchid to begin with but it's grown on me and now I love it! The flowers are around an inch wide on a short spike. I think there may be loads of potential in this little chap.
Love it LOTS!
It is a beautiful phalaenopsis orchid bloom. What is not to love?!
LOL It was far smaller than I was expecting and the colour 'in the flesh' isn't anywhere near as vibrant as in the picture. It's as if it throws back the light from it. In reality it has a translucent quality that I felt was too subtle for my tastes. However, now that I've had time to view it and given that this is it's first flowering I'm going to relent and hone my patience skills for the next blooming and see what happens. As it is stands it has a permanent home here lol.
At least you now know that it is photogenic. AL
