Default Double Dtps Noid (white w/ blush)

Since I had the digital out,
I thought I'd share these 2 Phal that were sold sharing a pot.

    Photo1: Cluster of Phal "A"
    Photo2: Close-up Phal "A"
    Photo3: Close-up Phal "B"

    They're both similar,
but the differing lip color leads me to think
    they're not the Same plant
    that they were tagged as.

    Ennui,

Those are most definitely not the same plant. They're both lovely, however. The first looks a lot like the Sogo Genki I posted today, but with a pink throat. Nice whatever they are!

Siblings from the same batch of seedlings are known to produce flowers of different colors and spots from each others. Maybe this is the case of your Phal Ennui. Whatever the case, they are both pretty, especially the first one.

One is displaying the Happy Valentine characteristic, and you can see some amabilis on the second one.

    Piper-
    thanks for the kind words.
the first one has a double spike,
and each spike has two branches.
So there are tons of flowers!

    Tanya-
I was trying to not harbor any illusions that the tag
might be remotely related to the actual plants I got,
but you raise a good point, about seedling variation.
I must admit, I am kinda partial to the first one, also.

They are both very pretty Ennui. I think I like the second one better. I like that hint of a blush, like the way the Japanese geisha girls have these smiles which they hide behind their fans... very sweet!Cheers
