    Mabuhay!

I have this kind of phals...actually my first phal ever is the intermedia. My intermedia has been with me for as long as i can remember. It has been transferred from so many mediums but i am still lucky to have 3 around. IME it doesn't like direct sunlight, the leaves burns easily but its very prolific and blooms a lot. Congrats!

Thanks Moja. Don't worry, my intermedia is under a lot of shade, much to its delight, but much to the dismay of a hibiscus growing beneath it. ;-) You are right, they are rarely out of bloom. I like the colors on the lip and the base of the petals and sepals. Every time I get the chance, I view it up close just to appreciate the colors better.

You're welcome, Matt. By the way, it is attached to an Aglaia odorata (Chinese Perfume Plant) whose small yellow flowers fill the air with their sweet scent in the morning.

This natural hybrid is one of the favorite orchids in the Philippines.
It is very easy to grow, doesn't need fertilizers.
It is a recommended plant to starters growing Phalaenopsis.
Just mount in the tree or drift wood or placed in the basket or pot with different plant media and water often, it grows and blooms anytime.

You're right Derek. As long as one can provide it with ample shade. It very easily burns in out tropical heat.

Can not help with the ID, but it is a beauty. It's so different from the Phals you see in the garden centers.

Thanks Willeke. Actually the ID has been established: Phalaenopsis x intermedia. This one's a natural hybrid.
