    Unhappy Phalaenopsis Blasting and Blooming

    Hi Everyone,
I got this little phal two months ago and it was in great shape. It had blooms and buds and it looked realy good. Since I've had it it has almost grown a new leaf and it is budding again from the end of the single spike. The roots in the pot are constantly growing and branching and it all looks good. My problem is that just today I noticed that it is now blasting all of the old blooms. Is this to accommodate the new flowers that will soon be open or is it a symptom of lack of care? I will attempt to load some pictures for you.

No sorry it won't allow me to upload any photos at the moment but I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

Since the flowers are two months old, maybe more (since you got it in flower) they are drying from old age. Nothing to do with bad care. Enjoy the new flowers!

I like the phals that keep on blooming. And, there are articles on how to upload a picture. Make sure you change the size first. I look forward to seeing a picture of your new flowers.

    Hi Cjcorner.
I have managed to post pics on here before but for some reason I was unable to today. But I will try again tomorrow. At least it's blooming again anyway.

Yeah I'm quite happy right now as today I discovered another leaf being pushed out from my large amabilis. So what with new buds and roots and leaves growing I'm feeling confident of a new spike soon too.
