Miltonia Honolulu x Rhynchostele bictoniensis Pacific Paranoia "Other Side of Cool"

I've been carefully watching this spike develop for the last 6-8 weeks and finally brought it indoors so that the squirrels would not come along and feast on the buds. So far it has 3 blooms with another 4 big fat buds.

Isn't that lovely! I had one awhile back...not sure if it's one of the still alive ones. But they don't do well in the heat here.

Woah, Martha!! That's absolutely stunning! The flowers really are outstanding and the plant itself screams of health and vigor. Good growing!

thanks everyone, I'd quite forgotten what this looked like since it hasn't bloomed since I brought it home in bloom 3 years ago. This seems to be my year for blooming as quite a few of my orchids have bloomed for me. I think I'll credit it to the 80 inches of snow we had last year, my reward for all that shoveling! - martha

What a cool clonal name for a simply stunning plant. What a well grown beauty!
