    I should also tell you that when you do get a flower, after the flower has fallen off do not cut the spike. Just leave it alone. that spike will produce several more buds and flowers before it dies off. I have had a broken spike which bloomed from the next node on the broken spike.

    Angela, you have such lovely blooms on your orchids!! That Psychopsis papilio bloom is outstanding!! (and its photo is awesome)
