    Blooms are around 1 1/2", with one secondary branch. Looks like I can expect more branching later, as this is a first blooming. Incidentally, if you noticed some pink creeping into the white background on the sides of the lip, that is not a trick of the camera; it's actually there, and I think it's pretty cool. The plant is maybe 4" tall. I only have a couple Tolumnia, and I can't take responsibility for this blooming (got it in spike). They're neat little guys though. Think I might pick up a couple more, when given the opportunity.

    Lineage:

    Elfin Gem = (Sniffen x Shannon Elizabeth)
    _Sniffen = (Golden Sunset x Irene Gleason)
    __Golden Sunset = Stanley Smith x Tiny Tim
    ___Stanley Smith = Red Belt x pulchella
    ____Red Belt = Golden Glow x triquetra
    _____Golden Glow = triquetra x urophylla
    ___Tiny Tim = triquetra x gulanensis
    __Irene Gleason = Golden Sunset x Linda

    ____Stanley Smith = Red Belt x pulchella
    _____Red Belt = Golden Glow x triquetra
    ______Golden Glow = triquetra x urophylla
    ____Tiny Tim = triquetra x gulanensis
    ___Linda = Rainbow x Waikiki Sunset
    ____Rainbow = pulchella x Tiny Tim

    _Shannon Elizabeth = Sniffen x Golden Sunset
    __Sniffen = (Golden Sunset x Irene Gleason)
    ___Golden Sunset = Stanley Smith x Tiny Tim
    ____Stanley Smith = Red Belt x pulchella
    _____Red Belt = Golden Glow x triquetra

    ____Red Belt = Golden Glow x triquetra
    _____Golden Glow = triquetra x urophylla

    pulchella = 52/256
    triquetra = 97/256
    urophylla = 13/256
    gulanensis = 58/256

    That doesn't quite add up, so I must've done the math wrong somewhere, but I don't want to bother redoing it. But there you go, approximately at least.

    Just goes to show you; if you're not bewildered and possibly bored, I haven't finished answering the question. But I, at the very least, found this interesting.

    How cool is this... our local orc soc had a guest speaker who deflasked a Tolumnia flask... and they weren't very big and then he said they don't grow much more than that.. e.g the flask was an honey jar and the biggest plant touched the top... so little beauties...

    One thing about Tolumnia's is that when you do a cross, say a red flower with a white flower, the babies will come out red, white, pink, orange, yellow.. dots and splashes etc etc... crazy huh!

    Anyways, love the skirt on this one Sue.

    Cheers
    Tim
