    Cymbids don't flower here either - I had some small success by planting them in claypots and cooling the pot down with ice from Jan - April (hottest months of the year) - 2 spiked, 1 had a fully spray of flowers, the other managed only 1 bloom. Too much trouble for too little reward!

    Still, Rose, that must have been somewhat rewarding. Cyms. are REALLY hard to rebloom unless you live in exactly the right climate for them - have you tried the new warmth-tolerant ones? They're a lot easier to please.
