Phalaenopsis bellina blue

    Beautiful collection.
    We can find this type of coerulea in Europe since few years but labelled "Phal. violacea coerulea" (not the Norton type).
    The Phal. bellina coerulea I could see on french or US forum were this type (see below), with the color distribution of bellina (white with coerulea on lower sepals and lip) :

    And a Phal. violacea coerulea (mine but the plant died), closer to your actual blooms :

    Jeff very strange, this species one of the easiest plant to grow, maybe need to wait international orchid fair than will get it in your country.

    Hi Eric thanks for showing us bellina var coerulea very interesting, sad to hear your coerulea already sent to heaven, never mine need to find another replacement. I agree with you the last photo exactly like mine maybe the same clone?

    I bought this plant in 2007 in Italy but I think that the seedlings came from Asia.
