    Caught my eye immediately - such a great photo!! I guessed it was yours immediately.

    I have an Aliceara (formerly Degarmoara) Memoria Jay Yamada that's just not behaving quite as nicely. Perhaps I should set your Wilsonara photo in front of it as a role model. The three spikes are so long, they sweep the ground and bend in all different directions, and their graceful curving arch is neither graceful nor curving. Very annoying, especially when there's such examples of perfection out there.

    Just S/H using coarse Perlite. These thin-leaved South American originating things will also do well in simple bark, and like it humid. They don't rest much, and complete a yea's cycle of growth, flower, rest and start againini 9-10 months here - so that they flower at different times each year.
