Default New Acquisitions Phal Shiuh-Dong Orange x Kuntrarti Rarashati and Onc Twinkle

I have not posted for a while, but have been lurking. The day is not complete without seeing some of your photos. i thought it was time to post again so I would show my recent purchase.

Instead of roses for Valentines Day I got permission to get orchids instead. Much better flowers and they last longer. The Onc. Twinkle flowers are small about 1/2 inch. Makes it very different from any others I have had. Of course my collection is small(but growing). Both are supposed to be fragrant but with a sinus infection I have to trust the salesman.

I'm bumping this thread because the Twinkle is in spike again! Just had to share it someone who understands It has three coming up. The closest I have come to being able to claim a spike is the catt that had one in the sheath when I bought it. These spikes came from p-bulbs that I grew!

As a side note the phal still has one bloom after 5 months. Perhaps I am figuring this all out.

Mesker if I were you I would feel the same way. The sweet smell of raising an orchid to happy and beautiful blooming success. AL
