    Default Odcdm. Wildcat 'Red Star'

I was really pleased when I returned home from vacation and found a lot of orchids in bloom. What a nice greeting after having been away from them and neglecting them for two weeks. This one is a consistant bloomer and I like the color and the long-lasting blooms. This a great orchid for someone just starting out.

Beautiful Bill. Looks like a Holiday display to me. Very home and hearth. May I ask if you had someone come in to water while you were off having fun? As you can see the orchids had their own festive party while you were gone and bloomed their little heads off. Someone must of 'spiked the punch' AL

Al I abandoned my orchids for two weeks. I watered them well before we left. I have done this before during the winter and find when I return from vacation the orchids have survived and in some cases thrived during my absence. I would never do it during the summer with the heat and the active growth that occurs. Yes my name is Bill and I am an orchid abuser

Bill you just confirmed what I suspected about orchids for sometime now. Namely that its o.k. for you to be a abuser in this case as 'the chids' are sadomasochistic anyway. AL
