    Default Phal. cornu-cervi

It's got four blooms open right now, and buds on the way. I didn't know these would would hold so many blooms at the same time (they're successive bloomers), but I guess that's just ignorance on my part.

Are you sure it isn't just coz you have the growing conditions down pat and you're trying to avoid responsibility

    Very nice blooms!

    Cheers

Well, I've only seen one in bloom in person besides mine, and most of the pictures I've seen are of plants much more mature than mine.

    Feh.

I really like the flower shape of these and P. mannii. Nice strange little things. I understand a local place is working on breeding with some of these 'bow-legged' species to get hybrids which retain the shape a bit.

    Sue-
That is gorgeous! I'm not a Phal. fan, until now! Might have to give this one a try someday. Thanks for sharing it.

    Very nice-

One I saw a month or so ago was almost translucent in the areas between the burgundy bars...very unusual...

Congratulations! Those little mittens that the first blooms come from DO look a bit odd...love it! Mine's turning out a slightly darker color than I expected, too.

    Good growing.
