    Default new phal

Hi everyone, this weekend I got a new Phal at the Boston Flower Show. Frosty Hollow Orchids had some gorgeous plants- so hard to choose! (but I couldn't carry a jungle home with me on the bus). I named it Picciolina (pronounced Peachy O'Leena).

Peachy next to The Unnamed One, which had an emergency repotting today after I knocked it over. The shade of screaming pink in the photo is quite accurate!

Hi Msphal. I think peachy is a bit of a show off boasting two spikes of rose pink. Lovely shape each bloom i think a house orchid warming party is in order. I can see a yellowish circle patch with dark center on left erect leaf close to spike- what is tht?

Hi Opal, glad you like. The yellow patch was there when I got it- there's a little healed scar on the underside of the leaf, I think it's just from that.
