Wild form looking fresh after heavy rain. This plant is quite compact, longest leaf is barely 30cm in length. 3 spikes now.

    Thanks.

William, all my orchids are grown outdoors 24/7, under a thin sheet of white curtain cloth (synthetic fabric). Phals, as with most of my orchids are in either plastic or clay pots in a mix of charcoal, broken pots/bricks, styrofoam and for bellina/violacea and their hybrids, the medium is topped with a thin layer of coarse sphagnum moss. watered once daily, if it does not rain. I use only organic fertiliser. I find phals can take quite a lot of fertiliser without problems.
