    I am enjoying the striking banding and intense color on these blooms. Glad all is well with you and the family Gavin. By the way Yew , since you have followed a path of wisdom so much of your life this means you do not qualify for "a second childhood" and therefore no nappies for you. AL

    I agree there is definately Cornu Cervi in the background. Love the coloration. Very pretty. Wonder if the children will be as willing to change our diapers as we were theirs? LOL

    Great picture, Gavin. I once had one, but find that I can only grow them if I mount them. Yours is beautiful...Betty

    YEs, they are best grown mounted..as it also helps to reduce likelihood of crown rot...You should get back into cornu cervis or their hybrids..they are a very hardy genus and if of blooming size will be in bloom more often than not..

    Dude... Is that a single spike that carries 4 flowers? Nice blooms and I have one very similar to yours...
