    Hi everybody

This orchid is my second one and my first Phal. All I know is Phal. I've been looking in the Phal section but I couldn't find the ID. Could you help me a little more in the ID so I can look for the best spot?

You have a beautiful leopard spotted phal. I do not know what the name is. I see nothing strange with the leaf either unless you mean the speckled patch? I don't know what that is but just keep an eye on it. If it gets bigger or changes shape then maybe post worry but I see nothing wrong here. It might just be mechanical damage.

What a beautiful phalaenopsis! If your spot gets any larger or turns brown/black dip your finger into some cinnamon and rub it into the spot. If the spot goes all the way through, rub the cinnamon onto the bottom too. Cinnamon...as in like you cook with. If you don't have cinnamon, you can try using hydrogen peroxide. Pour it on the spot a couple times until it doesn't bubble anymore. Best of luck...

That's a beautiful phal.. It's very unlikely that you'll ever find the exact name but I wouldn't be suprised if one parent is Dtps. Leopard Prince. It's widely used in breeding to achieve those kinds of spots.

My thoughts and opinion veer towards Doritinaeopsis. Gorgeous photogenic orchid and the elegant arching of the inflorescence with rounded blooms. Such great form and balance. A hybrid noid with endless possibilities of parentage, i should imagine this is also available in miniature form if not more so. Surface pattern adorable.

The leaf symptom is sun exposure, a little to hostile for it to cope with, got caught briefly somewhere in its young life even just an hour and less if right by glass on window. A bottom leaf will yellow and drop naturally as it grows so visually it will be gone soon. Doesnt matter now though! the plant pretty much scores attention away from base.
