    Default noid Doritaenopsis hybrid

my local home improvement place also had this... i don't usually do pink orchids, but the color is so bright, and the flowers are so perfect, and they have this interesting 'winged' look to the petals. some kind of Doritaenopsis hybrid.
not sure if it is Doritaenopsis champorensis or chumporensis, i see it called both on the internet.

still a dozen flowers on this, so a good 2 months of flowering while i had it, and probably a few weeks before i bought it too. not bad for a cheap little orchid with no id.

then you are in luck lucyC! there are tons of them. i like the reds and oranges, and even some yellows, as they compliment the colors of my furniture and artworks in the apartment, and i like the 'blues' too. but pink and white i don't usually do, unless somehow otherwise very interesting (scent, other colors, weird plant or shape of flower).
