Cool My beautiful mutant...a perfectly peloric phal!

I go by this clearance warehouse about twice a week because they have orchids for cheap! And look what I found on my latest trip!! A super-weird peloric phal!!

I just love how perfectly these blooms are formed! And all of them are exactly identical! They had another peloric there that was a hot mess...it had ruffles in some places and weird protuberances in others...I skipped over that one, simply because I was concerned it might not be a strong plant.

But these blooms are so neat/weird looking! From the front they look almost like daffodil blooms, but from this angle they look like they have "beaks!"

Anyway, I was sooooo excited about this find that I started babbling at the girl behind the counter about peloric orchids. It turns out she didn't speak much English, so I'll blame the blank look she was giving me on that.

What do you all think? Is this beautiful or just weird? I can't really decide! LOL
