    Gosh, I'm sorry about your Tolumnia. Maybe some orchid-lover found it and gave it a good home. I think you should either go out or order another one online. Yes, they are pretty.

    Thank you, Bruce.

    I do have a question about the Tolumnia that I cut the spike off of by mistake, though, and you'd be a good candidate for me to ask it to; I've been concerned that the plant may have a problem ever developing another spike. Would this be the case moreso than with any other
    orchid? (Don't worry, if your answer is negative, I can take it...I'm tough. lol)

    I don't think there will be a problem. It just will not happen until new growth appears. Patience is the key to orchid growing and blooming.
