Default Odbrs. Kenneth Bivens 'Santa Barbara' X Brs. Rex 'Tahoma'

I bought this today at a local nursery. I love these spidery flowers. To me they look like they are all dancing to music we cannot hear. The plant is not too great looking so I didn't include a picture. I will need to get this one growing and looking better...

A nice purchase Connie. As you probably know this plant and it's spike can get fairly large and tall. I think the plant itself is rather handsome and the flowers are superb. It can bloom twice a year easily with bright indirect light. My spider orchid (same as yours) has seven buds. it had eleven, but as is my people's custom, four had to be sacrificed to the great orchid goddess, Flora...................It's funny how she makes me break off buds in her honor! It's wonderful! My OH loves these Brassia types despite his supposed disinterest in my hobby. I really need to give him a "surprise" sometime.
