Looks like a violacea to me, looking at the shape of the petals and the leaves - but there are all kinds of violaceae crosses that could potentially look like this.

I second what everyone else is saying about the violacea parentage. However, the person at the nursery may not have been completely off his nut when he told you it was a cornu-cervi. Obviously it's not totally that, but there is a registered cross between violacea and cornu-cervi called Phalaenopsis Valentinii.

I know it's not necessarily wise to go off half-cocked and start guessing at what a plant might actually be, but I find it extremely interesting that the guy at the nursery told you it was a cornu-cervi, when it is SO obviously not, which leads me to believe that perhaps the tag had faded and he couldn't read it properly. If all he could see on his notes was "cornu-cervi," it would make sense that he would tell you that's what it was.

    Good luck! BEAUTIFUL flower...great find!

And what do you think of the 'alba' form that he stated??? This guy couldn't possibly know his orchids if he didn't realize that 'alba' means WHITE!!!
