    Not sure on your question's answer, but wanted to say that is is a lovely phal bloom. The lip is really nicely colored.

    Not amabilis. As you pointed out, it's a hybrid. And amabilis isn't the base--it's aphrodite. Most "amabilis" are actually aphrodites.
