    Default first flowering Oncidium Orchid

    thought I would share this first flowering cross with you all.

    The plant is Rhynchostele [Rst.] uroskinneri x Cyrtochilum [Cyr.] serratum

    With this being the first flowering the spike is about 1meter tall,unbranched and only 4 blooms.Name:  545x700.JPG

    What a gem! It got me to thinking: I can work and scrape and clean house ... and that spider lives in an orchid!!

    Thanks for the full plant shot, Murray. It's a cracking plant and one that would go on my wish list if I had even the slightest chance of getting it here in the UK. Thanks for sharing it.
