    Red face Oncidium Tricolore

Hi All ,I thought that I would share with you this exquisite flower.

Oncidium noezlianum x trilobum = Tricolore

This is the second time that I have flowered it.The last time was a couple of years ago and it was under 70% shade, and the spike was 2m and with not many flowers. This time the spike is just over 1m and the flower count is rather high, the shading this time is somewhere between 10% and 50% depending on the time of day.

There appears to be no fragrance with the flowers.
The flowers are 45 to 50mm wide.

    enjoy

this post is also enabling me to test a new laptop with windows 8 along with the camera and photo editor ( photoscape)

I hope that I am not in trouble for the last comment ,but with windows 8 so new, we all need to know what works and what doesn't.
