    Default Rescued Phal. Noids

Well while rounding up supplies to get my indoor area going again. I did need to find some instant satisfaction. So I did purchase a small 2" pot in bloom and four discounted noids that were out of bloom. All of the others are in spike, so may wait won't be to long to see what I have. Only problem was after I brought these home, I find Mealybugs hiding in these pots. Back to the home improvement to get inscecticides. Lucky for me my collection is very small. I did spray all of my plants to be on the safe side. Take Care, Rich

My family members and friends all give me their NOID phals after they bloom. I have started potting them in larger pots together and have as many as seven in one pot. Moving, watering, fertilizing and debugging all are made easier this way.
Made orchid society members shudder when they see this. I am not a phalaenopsis fan but I hate to see an orchid neglected and die.

I can't say that I'm a big Phal. fan either. After living in Florida for four years and being exposed to all the diverse varieties of orchids that thrive in that climate. And then moving up north, you don't find many other varieties of orchids up here except phal. I know that I can order via the internet. That will happen down the road. Have Fun, Rich
