Default Rossioglossum grande or a cross?

been looking of one of these for ages, after much begging a few of my vendors pulled through and remembered to bring a few for me to choose from (as yew pointed out and my vendors confirmed these seemed to have gone out of fashion quite a while ago) only thing is, no tag, so im uncertain if it's grande or Jester or possibly another cross
    any ideas

Amazing that this beautiful plant has gone out of fashion. It's very striking.

    WOW!!!

Don't worry...they'll come back into fashion. Everything does eventually, even if it shouldn't...like, say, the jumpsuit....

Shane the top one looks like Grande to me and it really is more of a Intermediate grower. It does not like heat especially above 80 degrees F. The bottom bloom looks like Rawdon Jester which I have and have bloomed fairly recently. It can take a bit more heat, but I believe it still is a intermediate grower. Either way they are stunning, long lasting blooms! Best of Luck! AL

yes, i have about a month or so to figure out how to make it think its not so hot here! i rarely use my AC but one of my roommates is british and has very little care for the environment nor for the outrageousness of our electricity bill, maybe i'll keep it in his room for the summer!
