    Default Phalaenopsis x intermedia

Phalaenopsis x intermedia is a natural hybrid between P. aphrodite and P. equestris. I bought this plant from the dawn market; I was told it was P. amabilis.

    Nice orchid picture!

Sometimes people in the weekend market do not know what are they selling ( How much did you get that plant)? Before I saw a lot of the so called Mindoro type Phalenopsis amabilis ( it was sold immediately) This orchid is indeed P. intermedia.

I had this kind of orchid before but it died during the hot summer months.
