She had that far back corner bench filled with them. There were at least two dozen, several were white, a few were spotted...and then my pink all by itself. She had a grin on her face as she knows I love huge phals, and told me to check the back bench. lol There was one white that was double the size of mine too. Those were double what I payed...after she gave me the usual regular's break. I love that place...lol.

Ruth didn't make the cross, but I also knew the guy who did. Duane McDowell registered a lot of crosses in the early to mid 1990's when he worked at Klehm Growers in northern Illinois, and named this cross for Ruth.

Why thank you...i've been working hard at my exercises and can finally walk with a cane. I can't go far, but even a short ways is exciting right now. I feel so much better and have dug into my orchid tasks with a renewed vigor. I haven't spent this much time outside in a long time. I'm lucky to have friends and my orchid family cheering me on. Thanks again to everyone praying for me and cheering me on. I appreciated every kind post...
