Mine was a favorite chum of a specie of neon green/purple caterpillar. I saw that some white butterflies used to lay their white tiny eggs in the young leaves. Sometimes I managed to spill the eggs but sometimes I am surprised that the leaves are already nibbled by the caterpillars. I'm glad that this Phal schilleriana and other endemic orchids are abundant to my country. I'm just sad that even the most natural pest are readily present too.

You most definitely get the award for most blooms on a phal. Holy orchid, I didn't think a single phal was capable of producing that many at once,? Top of the charts!

Wow, your schilleriana is simply awesome. The cooler climate in Baguio City really suits this beautiful phal. In our lowlands it will never bloom for us.Thanks for sharing.
