I haven't seen too many peloric oncid. types. Very cool!
interesting. i've only seen peloric phals and dorit hybrids before this.
Pelorics are not stable at all. You can have regular flowers and peloric on the same stem, or plants that have peloric flowers once, then never again. Moral of the story? Pelorics never really showed up until tissue culturing became the norm. I'm not sure anyone knows the exact cause. I guess the moral is to be careful how you reproduce your plants, whether by seed or cloning.
Out of season blooming is always welcomed.
