    Default Phal speciosa var tetraspis

This is not my plant - it belongs to a friend of mine. The picture is not very sharp as there was a slight breeze causing a lot of movement and I hadn't a tripod handy. These old hands ain't as steady as they used to be. I have 2 small plants bought from the same vendor and I hope they turn out to be just as pretty.

Though, if memory serves me, this species gets fairly large (if wrong by all means let me know ) I do have to say that it is one I would like to have. I, too, find the random coloration intriguing.

Beautiful - I love how the coloration pattern is unique on each flower! Hope you will be posting your plants' blooms in the future.

No bigger or smaller than most phals - very average size - very much like cornu-cervi; I don't think it will ever attain the size of Phal gigantea.
