    Let's see...

Yup, every collection should have a Sharry Baby. I did...once.

I thought that Brassia was an intergeneric - I've never seen one that fat! South Beach diet starting tomorrow!

The odontoglossum is outstanding. Have never seen that species.

And what can you say about a Psycho? The name says it all!

    Thanks for sharing, Hoa!

I guess I'm in the minority, but I can not abide the fragrance of Sharry Baby. The ones I have smelled have all seemed to be tooooo much. Sort of cloying, sweet.

Brassia Rex Sakata has a lovely fragrance, at least the one I have does, what I call a wood smoke or campfire smell, some people say sandalwood.

That Odontoglossum is definitely a standout! Beautiful lip.

I also am not a fan of Sharry Baby (sorry) though I can appreciate it's fragrance and floriferousness... ormaybe it is the latter that is going against its favour!

I am surprised that you two (Diane and Tim) don't like the fragrance of the Sharry Baby. The fragrance could get a bit overwhelming. Maybe you guys could try to sniff it at a distance so the olfactory sensors don't get so overloaded! My brother-in-law loves this plant. Everytime it blooms, he would take it to his office and show it off to everyone.
The brassia fragrance, some people like it, some don't. So the reverse might be happening here!
BTW, I really like the Odontoglossum wyattianum. I killed the first plant, but I am doing much better with the second one!
    Cheers. Hoa.

Default Tolumnia Magic ‘Hildos' x Tol. pulchellum ‘Han Ben’

Another pretty equitant hybrid! I have two of this cross. We will see the variation in the children soon enough since the other plant is in spike!
