As I have said in previous posts some of the best plants came from a fluke. It still looks really cool and healthy. Now if only we could get the absolute name so I can add it to my wish list.

It still looks so much like what I said before, it just might be a variation. Some plants of the same family can still have minor differences.

Beautiful flowers! I really like these types of orchid flower shapes, and I enjoy seeing it pop up on the slide show.

I have a plant similar to this that I bought at my local grocery. I have to confess I thought I killed it! I was down to 2 shriveled pseudobulb and one leaf this summer. I repotted and put it in a southeast window and honestly forgot it. Yesterday I saw new growth. Fingers crossed mine will survive and bloom as beautifully as yours. Congratulations on your success

I usually get my orchids near-death. Im a rescuer by nature. I have been surprised with how an orchid can bounce back with just the littlest love and care (and hormonal fertilizer, HEE,HEE).

hmmm.......... i have stumbled upon an orchid listed as 'miltassia kauai's choice' that in some photos looks very similar to this one. some of them have really long petals and sepals.
