really? they are almost unstoppable here? this is the one orchid i can rely on without fail, and no special treatment or fussiness at all?????????? doesn't the brassia parent give it some heat tolerance? mine gets some good heat in summer, no obvious problems. i have one inside, and another outside and they both bloom like crazy year 'round in heat or cold. did you give it enough light? they love good light. the one outside even gets some early morning sun. the tips are a little yellow, but it blooms often, and is bursting its pot apart growing so big.
Thanks coeruleo for the tips and info so interesting, I do agree with you for Brassia but not Miltonia in lowland refused to bloom for most species they do well with night temperature between 20 to 22 degree C which I cant provide as my night temperature almost constant 24.

I sure hope my Shelob grows well and starts to bloom. It's not very big, just a start from my daughter's plant when she repotted it. I love the flowers on them! Yours looks great!
