    Default My oldest phalaenopsis

This old white phal hangs on my back porch where it gets rained on and still survives. It blooms every year although the plant itself is pretty beat up. A big tree gives it some shade but occasionally it even gets full sun.

Quite the rugged survivor. That makes it very special and beautiful besides. AL

Lovely display. I wish my large round phals were just as tough - I've killed more phals and oncidiums than all other genera.

Jeff, that is just a beautiful sight. For an older phal, it has very nice form and nicely flowered. Plants like that become like an old friend.

Very nice! I like when phal spikes are allowed to fall naturally.

I'm not sure but I know I've had it at least 10 years. It might be more like 12.
