Don't think that's the issue, Wade. Judging by my leaf color, my plant seems to be telling me that lighting is pretty much spot on. This is its current "winter" color:

I've tried giving it cooler temps in the winter as well as not providing any cooler period at all. Plant grows well, as you can see, just doesn't bloom. (And I know it can do so as it was in bloom when I got it.)

Must try one as well. I've never had one, because they were so small, but I have room now for smaller plants.

I really love this one! I have a couple of Tolumnia that I grow outside and have had some success with.

they are the jello of the orchid world. there's always room for tolumnia. i first grew one to flowering just setting it bare root in between the large bulbs of an oncidium sharry baby. it loved it there.

hmmm... they do need some daily or almost daily misting, but other than that, not really. so far, anyway. i think the hard part is getting them to establish well in their new home. only new growths have actively growing roots, so it can be a while before they attach to their medium. i think the very small tree fern pots work pretty well.

it doesn't sound difficult,.. unless the orchid is very sensitive to other things as well,... i mostly worry about temperature,... place i live in is hot,.. range bout 28-34celcius on average,.. but sometimes could go 38-39 celcius,... just a little less than half boiling point,..
