The species that these are derived from grow in the Caribbean. They are frequently found growing in shrubs or cacti. Temp is usually 68F to 85F (20C to 30C) with constant air movement and about 60% - 70% humidity. Light is about the same as Cattleya but the hybrids might need a little less than that. They get water from dew daily as well as rain showers at least several times a week, but in almost all cases are dry within an hour. I usually fertilize very lightly all the time because in nature they really don't have a cool rest.
