Cool Repotted a couple of mini -phals today

I purchased a couple of mini-phals for my mom today. She enjoys growing phal orchids in her window and does really well with them. I saw these cute minis at a box store earlier today and had to buy both of them. I also bought a couple of pots and dishes. I mixed up my home-made bark mix and potted them up. I know your mom will love them! I really like mini phals too. They take up so little space and I keep imagining how they'll look when they are very mature and sending up 5 or 6 spikes at a time!

I'm sure your mom is going to love these cute phals. I think I should be growing these mini phals instead of the larger types which don't seem to like me.

And thanks very much for the pictures on repotting the phals. I'm sure a lot of us would really appreciate this. Oh yes, great pictures too.

Nice. I too brought a couple of the minis from Columbus, OH to Bangalore. They did not look happy by the time they reached home after almost 24 hours of travel but they survived. However they did not survive when I went away for a month leaving them in the care of my family who tried their best. That was sad! They are more delicate than the big phals.

I cannot leave these little phals alone. I love to give them as a gift. Everyone is always so surprised you can get orchids in such a tiny size. Nice repot there.

Very nice gift Bruce. I see over there there are the same clones for sale as here in Spain (same grower, perhaps?).
