Nice flowers, and a healthy looking plant. Good purchase. But seeing the word "Cambria" used to identify any orchid except Oncidiopsis Cambria or Cymbidium Cambria makes my brain hurt.

If I remember correctly this is Miltonidium Bartley Schwartz. I have posted pictures of this Oncidinae in OTF before. It is unfortunate that many people refer to crosses in the Oncidium family as cambria especially if the flowers are large. The original Cambria was the Vuylsteakara Cambria of which the variety 'Plush' was particularly beautiful. Though Vuylstekeara Cambria was registered in 1922 IMHO no modern Oncidinae hybrid has even come near it for sheer beauty - one reason why Cambria is used as a general term to refer to large beautiful blooms of the Oncidium family. Btw Vuylstekeara is a trigeneric cross between Cochlioda x Odontoglossum x Miltonia, but with taxonomic changes in the Oncidinae family I am not sure if Cambria is still,a Vuylstekeara. Vuylstekeara are mostly cool to intermediate growers but Mltdm Bartley Schwartz is warm growing.

Both Bartley Schwartz and Cambria are considered Oncidiopsis now. Necessary to recognize the distinction between Miltonia and Miltoniopsis hybrids. Interestingly, we don't really know WHAT Cambria is since half of the ancestry is unknown.

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong thread...
Just got today another "cambria" I've been drooling over for about 6 months.

Google popped several results including "Miltonidium Bartley White" and "Miltonidium Bartley Schwartz (White)". Errm...
Does this colour have an exact name? Or is it the name of the clone - White.
E.g. Miltonidium Bartley Schwartz 'Highland' and Miltonidium Bartley Schwartz 'White'???
The fragrance is absolutely identical to the deep red Bartley Shwartz posted above. *confused smiley*
