This is almost certainly Oncostele (Colmanara) Catatante, and that suggests a reason for less impressive flowering in fall than in spring. That type of hybrid would be a bit stressed from Florida summer heat. It may put on a better show from growth that matures in a cooler season.

Kirk - I'm glad you said that, as I just bought one in full bloom at a specialty grocery store, and it wasn't identified. What care does the Oncostele Catatante need? Cooler, I see, what about light and water? I love my plant and it seems in excellent condition, I want it to thrive! Thanks for the id, looking at pictures on the web confirms it.

General care instructions for Oncidium intergeneric hybrids like this are easy to find, so I won't clutter this thread with details easily found elsewhere. They are pretty much the middle-of-the-road orchids - light level between Phals and Catts, never dry out completely but they must have well drained media. Complex hybrids like this are usually quite tolerant of a wide range of conditions, but the thing that is often overlooked is that cool night time temperatures are important for some hybrids that don't have much ancestry from the heat loving members of the tribe. They will take the heat of the day if it isn't extreme, but they need a good drop in temperature at night, ideally 60-70F, or at least a 10 degree drop from the day. Hybrids of this type that seem to be getting good general care but aren't thriving usually aren't getting that temperature drop at night, which can be a challenge to provide indoors.
