This is almost certainly Oncostele (Colmanara) Catatante, and that suggests a reason for less impressive flowering in fall than in spring. That type of hybrid would be a bit stressed from Florida summer heat. It may put on a better show from growth that matures in a cooler season.

Kirk - I'm glad you said that, as I just bought one in full bloom at a specialty grocery store, and it wasn't identified. What care does the Oncostele Catatante need? Cooler, I see, what about light and water? I love my plant and it seems in excellent condition, I want it to thrive! Thanks for the id, looking at pictures on the web confirms it.
