Nope. I just received cold rain. There was just a dusting in some locations in metro area. We have a better chance of snow like Wednesday next week. I only last week brought my cool growing Cymbidium inside. Sure hope it spikes!

Thanks. It is a nice one. I have a number of other Onc types in spike and just time before they bloom. I counted 24 orchids in spike at home total right now.

Cold enough too snow this early is just wrong, never did like cold weather, it's still in the 80's here forecasted to stay that way for the next 2 weeks.

I have only a couple in spike now sounds like you will have your own paradise with all those spikes and what's to come.

The only problem for me with the cold is that this year we have not been cold at all until this week. I just had a frost that killed my annuals. Except I brought one strawberry jar of annuals in to the garage. So I am not at all adjusted to the change. We have been in near record temps for the previous 2 weeks.

I am happy with the spike count. One paph that aborted its spike last year has 2 growths in spike this year. My paph fairrianum is beginning to open. I love that one!

It has been like that here except I got snow which is still around in patches. This morning it was 18 deg F. The house got down to 58. The phals are starting to spike.

I love the density of the flowers on this beauty.

    Very beautiful Harvey !
I bought a Wildcat 'Carmela' earlier this year in bloom (photo). I checked if the Wildcat 'Carmela' was in spike again now but is not. I do have 2 spike Wildcat 'Green Valley' on the way to blooming. Think your Odontocidium Wildcat 'Carmela' is especially good, nice size flowers, nice substance, great color and markings. I am very fond of the various Wildcats and purchase them whenever I find one.
