Cool Oncidium Sharry Baby 'Yung-Shing' In Bloom

Only a few flowers have opened. It looks like this first spike of 2, will bloom in clusters on the spike, at different times. It is heavily fragrant early in the day. This is the first blooming in 2 years of living with me. It is actually my largest sized Oncidium type orchid. I think I first found this spike developing in September.

Playing with the new macro camera setup.

Sharry Baby didn't miss me at all I think. Maybe slowed down in opening a bit but beyond that. It's fine. And the second spike is unaffected too.

Here is the lower clump of buds and blooms. Still about 50% of the buds left to open in this section.

It has been under lights for 1.5 years, lived most of last summer outside and has been by a west facing window since coming in from outside.

Thanks Harvey. I ask because I put all of my oncidium crosses under lights last winter and although vegetative growth has been decent there has been no sign of flowering on any of them.
