I finally managed to get a day to take pictures of the Phals I have in bloom right now. This is a great year for them, I have 5 blooming right now and a Paph! Let's see if I can get this sorted out...
The first one is Phal Sogo Yukidian, very hard to get any detail with a snow white orchid! (Please note I corrected my spelling on the name, I looked it up! Sorry I got it wrong.
Then a NOID that I picked up off of Craig's List, nice to get the very delicate color on this one.
This one also came from the same guy... It's a lovely lemon yellow and SO happy looking!
And this one was given to me by a good friend, thank you Lisa! (Not that she's on this board lol)

Nice collection in bloom!
All are lovely....the white one I believed " Sogo yugodian " I have one of this as well
Great pictures, well done!
Oh, I'd better check the label! I didn't double check and relied on my aging memory! lol
The fun thing about getting "rescues" is that it is always a great surprise to see them bloom! I've never seen one like the little yellow one. That cluster of flowers is so happy and pretty. It doesn't show to its fullest color in the picture. And the harlequin one looks like someone dotted ink on damp paper - the spots are all dark in the middle and fading as you go out. It's nice there is a nearly endless variety, so all my rescues are each at least a little different.
Beautiful!!. Looks awesome. never bored of Phals.
good collection , specially I like the first pic (white phal)
That particular white Phal (whose name REALLY is Phal Sogo Yukidian, according to the internet!) is supposed to be THE most popular white Phal in Japan and probably the US. I can see why, mature specimens are huge and have several long cascading spikes at a time, they are easy to grow, tough and bloom easily. This one is, to me, a rather small plant I rescued a year or so ago because I recognized the name at a big home improvement store, it had a broken spike. Well, it went ahead and sent up a branch below the break and bloomed a couple of flowers then and is already blooming again this year. Most of mine want to be larger than this guy before they bloom for me, so I figure its a very free bloomer. I'm quite taken by it.
