    "tis the season" apparently to break spikes!

    I haven't done so this season..........yet. But there are lots of future spikes that should worry.

    That's just awful. We feel your pain. Sometimes when my plants have had accidents involving their spikes they seem to redouble their efforts to replace them, so fingers crossed!
