This is a discussion on Oncidium chrysomorphum within the Phalaenopsis, Oncidium, & Intergenerics IN BLOOM forums, part of the Orchid Photography category; ...
Another of the Oncidium species bought last year at London Shoiw ; is extraordinarily prolific in new growths , maybe as many as half a dozen in the 4 ˝ inch pot ; appears to make rather small bulbs, in the sense of being thin and flattened, almost hidden by the leaves. It did flower last year, rather later than this, with a small spike, also hidden (I almost), but this year the spike is certainly big enough to be seen. I think it could do much better, too.
I'm admiring its cloud of little yellow flowers; how lovely!
Very nice buy Geoff.
Nicely done Geoff!
