    Default Maxillaria Tenuifolia

Ok, I know mine pales in comparison with Jack and Bruce's that they posted recently but I am excited to see it begin to flourish. Believe it or not, I've had this plant for about 4 years. I finally began to read up on it a couple years ago and found it needed more sunlight. Last year I got 2 blooms and this year so far 5 with more to come. Boy, do I keep learning and have a lot more to learn! It's great having this forum with all of you to learn from. Thanks!

    Good job!

I have had mine for over 2 years and no blooms. I recently moved it to artificial lighting to see if that will be enough to get it going. It had hung in front of a window in the same spot and thrived but no flowers.

Sheryl that is fantastic, my first year was low bloom count and the second year was this year. I am sure with more light you will get a lot more next year.
