    Default Phalaenopsis

Purchased this orchid for a dear friend whose retirement party I'm going to today. I can't get a good picture of the color but it's a very pale yellow/green color with a purple lip. She's been an ESE pre k teacher for 33 years - she's obviously got plenty of patience and caring to offer this orchid.

My sister is retiring at the end of this school year after 40 years too. She teaches 1st grade and has been in the same school and the same room the whole time.

Congratulations to your sister Harvey! And yes, my friend has been at the same school her entire career as well.

Wow I love this orchid and I love the fact that your friend and Harvey's sister have been teaching for 33 and 40 years. I taught for 15 years before leaving to go to medical school. I am always impressed and inspired by people who spend their lives teaching. It is rewarding and extremely difficult at times.
Two of my teacher friends in medical school bought this orchid for me when I left. I still love it. Name: tiger orchid1.jpg

You're right about that Traci. It takes very special people to work with children every day professionally! Lol! Good for you for going through med school. That also takes a very special person as well. Your orchid is beautiful!
