Default Phal. Taipei's Gem "Amethyst" HCC/AOS

A red phal. It has a light fragrance under bright light! The spike grows very slowly on this one!

    Default A peloric Baldan Kaleidoscope

A mistake during cloning gives rise to this mutation. I wonder whether I should keep this plant? It looks better through the picture but in person, I don't think it's pretty!

Hoa, your 'right', this one is not worth keeping. Just take it out of the pot, wrap the roots with some damp spag, throw it in a bag, and tape it down inside a box, put my address on the shipping label and send it to ME!! I will take care of disposal for you!!!!

It may be a mutation, but it is beautiful! Your blooms are all so wonderful. Thanks for sharing them!

    Cheers!

Yeah, and while your shipping it, wrap up the Ever Spring Pioneer and send that to me!

Was that a recent acquisition? It looks similar to one we were all drooling over a few weeks back. I love the combination patterning!

    Thanks for posting!

Thanks you guys for the FUNNY comments and looking! They do spice things it, don't they? BTW, so many me, ME, ME, MEE, MEEEEE .... hehehe so which ME is first? Hehehhe!!!

    Julie,
That plant I bought like at least a year ago. But this kind of pattern on phals is quite new. A similar clone was awarded a FCC recently.

Well, since I have problem parting with my plants, it will be difficult to ship them off even the ones that I don't like much. You know I still have space at my place! However, this morning, before going to work, I applied the keiki paste to some of the plants mentioned here, the peloric Baldan, the Ever Spring Pioneer, the Taida, and a few others. Keep your long fingers crossed! Hehhehhe! In 12 months, I will have baby keikis for friends far and close. In fact, I did that last year with the Spanish Dance, and currently I have two keikis of that plant. A big one was potted up months ago while the smaller one has been left on the mother plant. It looks mightily big with many roots now so I guess it is ready to have a life of its own now!

    Cheers. Hoa.

    Hi Hoa,

While I've had bunches of Dend keikeis, I've never had a Phal keikei. How long do they take to develop before they're big enough to remove? Twelve months seems like a long time.

Please post pictures of the process - that would be cool!

    Julie
