Default Phal Timothy Christopher x parshii

This is currently in bloom. I had no luck in blooming it when I had it on an open shelf under lights. I read that parshii wanted high humidity, so I put it in an aquarium that I also have under lights. That did the trick, the plant looked better and here are the blooms: 5 blooms and 2 buds - blooms one inch wide and 1 1/4 inches tall.

That's what it's all about ... trying different things and learning.

Thanks to all for your comments. Even after 35 years of orchid growing, I tend to read a lot and learn new things! Forums such as this one are a good source of information.
